Well this is a happy day for Mrs. Eddie. Eddie just got a new phone today...a palm pilot type that does not have the feature of Nextel Direct Connect (the two way radio). Or as we so passionately call it...beep beep.
The things we do for Mrs. Eddie...the saga continues.

The perfect gift...or not
Well HAPPY NEW YEAR to all! I hope everyone had fun and was safe.
I just realized another reason why Mrs. Eddie will forever be mittens to me. This last Christmas Mrs. Eddie was the recipient of duplicate gifts, GLOVES!!!
When she opened one of her gifts her face said OH THANK YOU! However Eddie has gotten wise to this. She was to excited to open a present from my parents. Then I saw the gift...gloves. I knew this wouldn't go well. To make matters worse Mrs. Eddie also received gloves from her parents the next day as well. (Great minds think a like...hum)
Some time has passed and it came time to figure out if we needed to exchange anything. There sat the gloves on the table and Mrs. Eddie looked at me like 'what do I do with these'. I suggested she give them a chance maybe they will grow on her. My advise was that now she is a Mom it will come in handy to use all her fingers when reaching in pockets and digging for stuff.
Lets face it, mittens and gloves serve equally great purposes. You just need to figure out what type you are. Eddie is gloves all the way. Sadly I don't think Mrs. Eddie will ever know the excitement involved with wearing gloves. That's OK too.
So the gloves still sit there today looking at us. What do we do...what do we do.
